With Drives® Stainless Steel chain, you’re protected from the destruction of corrosion. We build these chains to operate efficiently in environments that face corrosion and extreme temperatures.
- 600 AS Series: Magnetic, stainless steel chain designed for corrosive drive or conveyor applications with a high number of articulations. Hardened round parts provide up to a 50% higher working load and better wear life than 304 and 316 Series, with the caveat being less corrosion resistance than its counterparts.
- 304 PS Series: Non-magnetic, stainless steel chain designed for use in corrosive or high temperature environments. Offers less working load or wear life than 600 Series.
- 316 NS Series: Stainless steel chain used in highly corrosive or extreme temperature environments that would shorten the life of 304 Series. It has very low magnetism. Offers more corrosion resistance than 304 and 600 Series chains but does not have the working load offerings of 600 Series.
If one of the above stainless steel chains does not meet your application, we also offer anti-corrosion chains in nickel plated and Silver Shield CR® plating.
However, before you switch to a different chain, please consult your Drives sales representative.
