Drives® Sectional Augers are made by welding individual flights onto a central rotating shaft. Made from abrasion resistant and high strength materials, these augers have a consistent cross-section across the conveying face and tend to be heavier than mounted helicoids. Sectional helicoid augers are often selected for heavy duty applications that require a thicker outside diameter flight edge to provide extended wear life. Although carbon is the default material, this product is available in stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
